Wet n wild has finally launched its products in India and with that I finally got my hands on some of the most wanted products of this popular drugstore brand. This time I bought some newly launched shades ‘Color Icon Glitter Single Eyeshadows’. So, this review is all about Wet n Wild Color Icon Glitter Single Karma.
Price: $0.99 for 1.4 g
Go glam with this uber-pigmented glitter single. Infused with Vitamin E, its glitterati-worthy color goes on silky smooth, moisturizes skin, and blends like butter. And, it’ll stay put no matter what the night holds.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Glitter Single Karma:
The Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye shadow Glitter Single comes in a range of 7 different and varied glittery shades: Groupie, Brass, Bleached, Toasty, Spiked, Karma and Nudecomer. These shades look really beautiful and are insanely budget-friendly, so if you are into glittery makeup and still don’t want to empty your pockets much, you must definitely pick some shades from this range.
The eyeshadow comes inside a petite, black rectangular-shaped sleek pan and is covered by a transparent lid. You can easily see the colour of the eyeshadow from outside. The front side of the pan has the shade name and the brand name written on it whereas the back side of the pan does not contain any significant details. I did not find any information about the ingredient list on the eyeshadow pan. The pan opens with a slight pull.
The packaging isn’t very strong and compact, but since it is very small in size, you can conveniently carry it around everywhere. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly. The eyeshadow does not come with an applicator brush. Hence, in order to apply it, you either need to use your fingers or carry a separate eyeshadow brush. Other than that, I find the packaging super adorable.
The shade ‘Karma’ is a glamorous charcoal grey colour. It might look blackish but it is not entirely black. The colour is so bold and striking. The colour looks rich and is certain to uplift your eye makeup game. For instance, this can be used to create a bold smokey eye look. And the fine glitter particles in the eyeshadow just add icing to the cake.
If you are looking for creating super bold and dramatic makeup looks, Karma is a very good choice at a super affordable price. The colour is perfect for creating party looks. It will mostly go with evening makeup looks and will complement fair skin tones very nicely. For dusky beauties, this is not a great choice.
The pigmentation is really awesome. It occupies the eyelids perfectly and evenly. I did not face any issues with building the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. The colour is truly unique and it shows up on the eyes clearly. It is infused with finely milled glitter pigments that blend like a dream and do not feel coarse on the eyes. You would need about 2-3 swipes for fuller coverage on the eyelids.
Texture and Consistency:
The texture of this eyeshadow is something I love the most. It is infused with aloe and coconut oil, due to which the texture of this eyeshadow has a creamy feel to it. I have already used the Wet N Wild Color Icon Glitter Single in shades Vices, Distortion and Spiked. These have already been reviewed on IMBB.
These shadows contain coarse glitter particles which could be bothersome to be worn on eyes. However, the shade ‘Karma’ is exactly opposite in texture to these shades and goes super creamy and ultra smooth upon application. The formula blends easily on the eyelids. It does not feel heavy on the eyelids.
I mean I really did not expect such a superb texture and pigmentation at such a mind-boggling price. It can give a tough competition to other brands having creamy eyeshadows. On application, using fingers I observed the coverage was very even. You can apply it with your fingers or with an eyeshadow brush. It will deliver a beautiful and flawless look. It never goes patchy even on layering.
It does not crease or settle into the fine lines. Moreover, there will be no fallout in this shade unlike other glitter shades in the Wet n Wild range. Sometimes, I prefer to wet my eyeshadow brush which makes the colour look metallic and eye-catching. In order ensure more longevity you can also apply it over your eye primer.
Staying power is pretty decent. Normally, it stays for 5-6 hours. On primed eyelids, it stays for about 7-8 hours. If you have oily eyelids make sure you use an eye primer before application of this shadow. It gets removed easily with an oil-based makeup remover.
I love this uncommon shade. Yes, it is extremely budget-friendly and I am happy with the quality of the product. If you want to be a trendsetter at any party and make eyeballs roll, go for this!
