Skin Tone: Medium fair, warm undertones
I am reviewing yet another shade from LA Colors Moisture Cream Lipstick range – “Latte.”
Color coordinated case featuring a modern, square design that has a glossy texture for the Cream formula and soft finish for the Matte formula. Both formulas leave lips feeling nourished and drenched in gorgeous color.

My Experience with LA Colors Moisture Cream Lipstick Latte:
The lipstick comes in a basic, black-colored plastic tube with a clear plastic cap. The side of the tube has the shade name written on it. The tube is color coded; this helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash. The cap does not shut very tightly and may come off while carrying around. So, I have to be extra careful while carrying this lipstick to avoid any mess. Also, a small part of the lipstick peeps out of the tube, so a little care is required while removing/placing the cap to prevent the bullet from getting damaged. The shape of the lipstick bullet shaped helps to achieve precise application. Overall, the packaging is very ordinary.
“Latte” is a soft n*de brown shade. It is a lovely shade for everyday use. It looks lovely on fair to medium skin tones. It is great for college and office wear. This is a perfect n*de shade for my skin tone. The brand claims it to be crème lipstick but the lipstick sets to a creamy matte kind of finish in a little time. It gives a healthy sheen to the lips.
The lipstick is average in pigmentation and it needs to be layered on for full coverage. Two-three swipes are required to build up the color on the lips. It is capable of covering pigmentation of the lips nicely. The color looks even and does not get patchy. Most of the pale shades tend to get patchy but there is streakiness or patchiness in the finish of this lipstick.
The texture of this shade is smooth. It does not drag on the lips. It does not highlight dry patches of the lips. The formula is comfortable to wear. It is not too lightweight but it is not heavy either. I can still feel the presence of the lipstick on my lips. The lipstick is smudge-proof upto some extent. The formula is not heavily transferring but it does transfer a little. It survives normal sipping and light snacks easily but it fades away after a full meal. The lipstick is moisturizing and lips do not feel dry.
The lipstick lasts for around 4-5 hours on my lips with a little fading. It can be easily taken off with a good makeup remover and it does not stain the lips.
