Today I am going to review Creed Fleurissimo Eau de Parfum.
Revel in storybook romance with Fleurissimo, the olfactory expression of a wedding bouquet. A sophisticated blend of high-fashion glamour and elegant aristocracy, the scent marries tuberose, violet, iris, and Bulgarian rose. Fleurissimo will evoke the beautiful essence of a bride in any woman for her most special occasions, ensuring all eyes in the room are on her.
Top note: Bergamot, violet leaves
Middle note: Bulgarian rose, tuberose, ylang ylang
Base note: Florentine iris, ambergris
My Experience with Creed Fleurissimo Eau de Parfum:
Creed Fleurissimo Eau de Parfum comes packaged in a transparent bottle with green-gold cap and engravings at few places. The top of the cap has the ‘Creed’ symbol engraved in gold. The green cap is made of plastic. The perfume bottle is a little curved, which makes it look even more elegant. The cap closes tightly, so it is very secure. The outer packaging is also very good. It comes in a cardboard box with a leaflet where some information about the brand has been provided. The packaging is very typical of Creed and, of course, looks classy.
The fragrance itself opens with a lot of floral notes. It’s a mix of flowers but mainly rose. I am a sucker for roses. I have various rose fragrances and love using them especially during spring months. Rose-based fragrances work for both morning and night time. In this fragrance, the top notes are bergamot and violet leaves. The middle notes are of Bulgarian rose, tuberose and ylang-ylang. The base notes are Florentine iris and ambergris.
As soon as you spray the perfume, you can smell the bergamot, which I personally do not welcome. But this does not last so long. The fragrance works its way to the middle notes and that is when I start enjoying it. It’s all rose and more rose. The fragrance of the rose is mild and sweet. Ylang ylang adds that creaminess to the rose and makes it even more appealing.
The rose fragrance is quite mild and never feels strong or overwhelming. This fragrance lasts about 7 to 8 hours indoors and shorter if you spend time outdoors. By the end – the last hour or so – one can feel that it smells slightly like jasmine and then it dies down. Since all notes are mild, the sillage is also average. So, one can wear it to work and important meetings without smelling too strong.
Overall, it’s a good blend of floral fragrances, mainly rose, and it’s so mild that it can be worn on many occasions. I love to use it mainly for work. Yes, it’s definitely very expensive and the market offers many other rose-based fragrances. But if you love indulging in high-end fragrances then you should definitely give this one a try.
