1. Give Your Skin a Break:
Office going girl or a college student, we all love our makeup and use it daily but it can really stress your skin out. So, be kind to your skin and give your skin that much needed break from those unwanted chemicals for at least a couple of days or a week. If you can’t quit, lighten it up and use less makeup products.
2. Get a Facial:
Detox your skin by a facial, for best results it is advised to get it done by a professional salon. Facial is a great way to remove impurities and remove excess sebum. It will also clear out pores and rejuvenate skin. It is a great way to de-stress your mind and skin.
3. Dry Brushing:
Dry brushing is an another way to remove toxins from your entire body. Dry body brushing helps to shed off dead skin cells and encourages new cell growth which results in smoother and brighter skin. It can also help with remove ingrown hair. Regular dry brushing can also reduce the appearance of cellulite as cellulite is toxic material accumulated in your body’s fat cells.
How to Dry Brush at Home:
• You need a natural bristle brush (avoid the one made from nylon or synthetic materials). Preferably with a long handle which will help you reach all areas of the body.
• Start on dry skin before bathing.
• Work in gentle circular, upward motions.
• Begin at the ankles in circular upwards movements towards the heart –as the lymphatic fluid flows through the body towards the heart, so one should brush in the same direction.
• Your back is the only exception to this rule. Brush from the neck down to the lower back.
• Finish the process with a good moisturiser or coconut oil. Massage it while applying to reap full benefits.
• Get a relaxing warm shower after 15 minutes.

4. Mud Mask:
Mud masks contain nutrients and vitamins. When you apply a mud mask to your face, the skin absorbs those nutrients and vitamins giving your skin that much needed dose of vitamins. 5. Use a Clarifying Shampoo:
Using a Clarifying shampoo is the ultimate way to detox your hair, as it deep cleanses and purify the scalp. They’re designed to remove stubborn product build-up from your hair. If you use a lot of hair products, you may need to use a clarifying shampoo once per week. Otherwise, once every two to four weeks is reasonable.
6. Trim it Off:
You can either get a new haircut or trim off those dead dry ends! Cutting off dry split ends will promote healthy hair growth and your hair strands will instantly look healthier, shinier and much more bouncy.
7. Bentonite Clay Hair Mask:
1/2 cup bentonite clay powder
1/2 cup aloe vera gel
1/4 apple cider vinegar
1 cup of apple cider vinegar (for hair rinse)
Mix bentonite clay, aloe vera and 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar together. Mix well and make a thick paste. Wrap your head with a old towel or shower cap. and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Follow up with a rinse with 1 cup of vinegar and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes, then shampoo and use conditioner as usual.
8. Sweat it Out:
Exercise allows blood to circulate more efficiently through the body and this allows nutrients to reach all organs. It also helps lymph fluids to circulate through the body, which removes toxins and other harmful materials.
9. Drink your Water:
Drinking water is an another way to detox your body. It will internally cleanse your system and remove toxins. It is advised to drink at least one gallon of water approx (3.8 L) to remove toxins.
